Details: Fresno is centrally located in the San Joaquin Valley of California. It takes us about 2 ½ hours to drive to the San Francisco Bay Area and approximately 3 hours to get to the Los Angeles area.
Fresno is surrounded by three magnificent national parks namely Yosemite National park, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. Although a day trip from Fresno to the national parks is possible, you'd probably want to spend more time at those national treasures.
Fresno offers a wide range of activities from spectator sports with ice hockey team Fresno Falcons and baseball with Fresno Grizzlies to music with Fresno Philharmonic.
